The Threads New Band Manager - J.Wavro - Deborah Brown
So my favorite local band, The Threads just asked me to be their band manager....... and of course being their most devote fan I said ABSOLUTELY!
I am looking forward to helping them gain more exposure in 2012, they just keep getting better and better with time. Anyone that I've ever invited to one of their shows has fallen in love with their music.
All of their songs are originals and have an eclectic sound - think of U2 meshing with The Cure meshing with Radiohead - basically its Alternative, New Wave, Indie Rock, Post-Punk mix of awesomeness!
The band consists of five members, two of which are good friends:
Brian - Lead Singer
Nick - Guitar
Todd - Guitar, Keyboard, Drums, Sound
Will - Bass
Yanik - Drums, Keyboard
Next to Seattle, San Francisco boasts a number of fabulous venues to check out the local band scene. The Boom Boom Room in Lower Pac Heights; Bottom of the Hill in Potrero Hill; Red Devil Lounge in Polk Gulch are just a few. The Threads will be playing at all of them soon!
